Read More10 Oils with Natural SPF
I think Sunblock is great – especially when it’s non-toxic and safe for your body. If you’d really like to go all natural with your sunblock, you can use oils to provide you with your sun protection needs! I’ve heard of people using coconut oil or olive as a natural SPF, but after seeing what their SPF rating it, neither of those two oils have enough sun protection for my fair skin. I believe that something is better than nothing, but I would definitely look at using carrot seed oil or raspberry oil for an all natural sunblock. Oils with the Most Sun Protection Factor (SPF) Carrot Seed Oil: SPF 38-40 Raspberry Seed Oil: SPF 28-50 Wheatgerm Oil: SPF 20 Avocado Oil: SPF 4-15 Coconut Oil: SPF 2-8 Olive Oil: SPF 2-8 Macadamia Nut Oil: SPF 6 Almond Oil: SPF 5 Shea Butter: SPF...

I am enjoying a wonderful week at my parent’s house! It’s so good for me to spend time with family and allow my daughter to get to know her grandparents better and her aunts, uncles, and cousins! I wanted to share with you guys one of the many highlights from my trip. My parents have a garden in their backyard (I personally feel that it’s miracle that anything grows in the intense heat of Nevada), and every day we have been able to enjoy fresh organic red swiss chard and/or collard greens in a smoothie. My mom has a Blendtec and I was so impressed with how well it juiced everything! In less than a week I have become a smoothie believer and could finally understand why people could justify spending $500 for a blender. I never felt like I...
