Keep it out of your house!
“If you can’t eat it responsibly, keep it out of your house”
The other day I was about to buy some delicious cookies. They’re made with natural ingredients, so I buy them every so often, but I still wouldn’t consider them “healthy” since they still have sugar. I mean, they are cookies! It’s a nice “once in a while” treat. These cookies taste AMAZING – which means I have a hard time controlling the amount that I eat. So when I am trying to lose weight, these cookies just don’t belong in my house. It’s just too easy to turn to them when I am hungry, craving something yummy, or too tired to make something.
You know yourself, and if you can’t eat a not-so-healthy food item responsibly, just keep it out of your house. Don’t sabotage your health or weight loss efforts by keeping the temptation in your home.
